……. Can I creamate my washing machine??? What happened to the old machines made out of kryptonite or something that resembled the material made out of a modern day sub-marine? I had one of those the first half of my laundry career. The second half ended our perfect relationship and I moved on to a newer “front-loading” model. Soon after we met, I wanted out!!! It molded, it smelled, it never cleaned clothes well and it was so loud you would think a sonic boom was coming any moment. I longed for that old, cold, familiar friend I could count on to deliver CLEAN clothes!! So fast forward 10 years, and I am thrilled to be researching new top-loading washers. The old sub-marine kind (do they make those anymore?). I don’t need the latest itune downloads at the end of the cycles or any special “steam” , “sanitize” or “practically dry-clean” features. Just a washer that actually CLEANS and doesn’t need monthly dates from my appliance service man. Just one that obediently hums everyday and thoroughly cleans the garments I place inside. Comments anyone?

Welcome to my World!!
Welcome to my world! Today is my very first blog, ever! You may be asking yourself if you will truly find wisdom here and before you read on, perhaps I should explain. I am blogging about my life and my world from my own perspective. This does not qualify me to proclaim "wisdom" however, I have had some life experiences which some may find amusing, heart-warming, note-worthy and even borderline clinical at times. I have been married over 20 years. I left out "blissfully" because that would not be entirely honest. I have 3 children. I left out the word "amazing" because that would not always be entirely true either even though I love them more than I could ever explain here. I have been blessed far more than I have blessed others, I have been loved far more than I deserve. It is my purpose to write about my life, as often as I can, sharing honest information about my life experiences from my own small acre, in my own small world of wisdom.
